After a journey of three years, I am very excited to announce that my CD (actually John's and my CD) is finally available for purchase from our Band Home Page [link] or CDBaby [link] The CD is also available via digital download at CDBaby - for easy use in any computer, iPod, or MP3 player.

Following is our press release.

Constant Revelation’s debut album “Hidden Gems” could be a world’s first.

Unlike most music you'll hear today Constant Revelation's debut album "Hidden Gems" stands out as a truly unique effort and is a forerunner in the collaboration of individual musicians worldwide through the use of technology. The duo crafted songs just as any other musicians would with one major exception - they live tens of thousands of miles apart!

Constant Revelation was formed when Renata Sajko of Australia and John Dabbs of the US met through a musicians wanted ad and began working on the material that would become "Hidden Gems". Using the internet as a medium the duo wrote and recorded the entire album in their hometowns with their differences in musical style meshed into a fusion of pop, rock, and jazz.

What the distance brings to CR is truly impressive. Renata’s influences are strongly rooted in jazz, soul, and classical music although she hasn't limited herself to this; she has also performed with Australian rock bands and musical cabarets and was signed to one of Australia’s largest independent record label Mushroom Records before parting ways to develop her own individual style. John’s influences are in alternative rock and blues, playing in many Detroit area bands through the years. Constant Revelation’s sound is a convergence of these styles and has garnered an unmistakable musical signature.

From "Hidden Gems" opening track "One Day", to the closing track "September Sun", the duo takes the listener on a musical journey. The album runs through a host of styles from slow acoustic ballads such as "Dreamed" to danceable jazz rock grooves in "You're to Blame" to the alternative rock of "Painted Pony". Renata's heartfelt lyrics draw you into the music along with her strong vocal style as she paints a picture with each song as if putting brush to canvas. You can clearly hear John's alternative rock influences as well as he frames each song while playing many of the instruments on the tracks.

Constant Revelation's debut CD "Hidden Gems" has carved out a new niche in today’s world of music, music in which distance and style are no longer barriers.

Big...W O W!

Congrats on the info in your journal. I'm new with computers but I will definitely have to figure out how to get to that.

Sounds like the "sounds" :music: must be just incredible. What a awesome story about how it what knit together.

I have maybe three of four artists I could just fav all their work and give it it's own collection title.

Seems I've found another. Love your style. Will try not to take them all over to "my place".

You gave me a compliment on my gallery. Wanted to say thanks for that.
